2. EOP
An Emergency Operations plan is the ‘bread and butter’ resource of codifying the procedures and information that your specific school will need in an emergency.
3. Student Information Systems
Student Information Systems house the information about each individual student, including parent and emergency contact information. It’s important that this information is up to date before practicing an off-site reunification.
Pik my Kid (if used for dismissal or something similar)
Raptor (many schools are using the Raptor reunification module/add-on now, in addition to using it as the visitor management )
4. Templates and Documents
It’s important to have templates of the different messages you would send to stakeholders throughout an emergency and reunification.

6. Communication Systems
Emergency Notification Systems (ENS) are essential in the event of emergencies that require serious, quick responses, such as evacuations, lockdowns, calls to shelter in place, and severe weather. Below are examples of ENS systems.
7. Drills/Training
Drills and Training are essential to ensuring implemented systems are tested. It also allows for staff to practice their respective roles and responsibilities in emergency scenario. This is also an opportunity to engage strike teams in a meaningful way. Below are resources that can support in both of these practices.
